Walschot moves to Hong Kong’s HAECO from SR Technics

Former SR Technics CEO, Frank Walschot, will be the new head of Hong Kong MRO, HAECO, from December 1, following Augustus Tang’s August move to Cathay Pacific as CEO. Read More »

HAECO Group chairman, Merlin Swire, said: ‘Frank brings with him a wealth of knowledge and international experience in the MRO industry.” Summit Chan will continue as HAECO’s interim CEO until December 1, when he will become group director corporate development. He will retain his roles as chairman of HAECO Xiamen and the MRO’s other China joint ventures.

At HNA Aviation’s 80%-owned SR Technics, Walschot’s successor is former chief operating officer and accountable manager, Jean-Marc Lenz. SR Technics chairman, Ning Wan, said Walschot and Lenz had worked side by side for many years and that the company recognized Walschot’s “great achievements” at SR Technics.
