Embraer appoints new CFO and COO

Embraer’s board of directors has chosen Antonio Carlos Garcia to succeed Nelson Salgado as the aerospace manufacturer’s chief financial and investment officer. After a two-month transition period working with Garcia, Salgado will move to his new role of chief operating officer of the company, also on January 1.
GECAS names Greg Conlon president and CEO
GECAS has chosen an internal candidate, Greg Conlon, as its new president and CEO. The 20-year veteran of the global lessor will succeed the president and CEO of GE Capital, Alec Burger. Burger will take on the additional role of GECAS chairman. GECAS is owned by GE Capital.
