Japan Airlines predicts full year blow out in losses

Read More » The company said it expected to post a net loss of 300 billion yen (US$2.9 billion) for the 12 months to March 31, 2021, a deterioration from last October's estimate of a 240 billion yen to 270 billion yen net loss. The latest financial guidance was published in JAL's third quarter results, which showed a net loss of 212.7 billion yen for the three months to December 31, 2020, compared with a net profit of 74.8 billion yen a year ago. "At present, it is difficult to foresee the recovery of demand while the global spread of COVID-19 shows no sign of slowdown," JAL said.
