Air New Zealand launches cargo route to Guangzhou

Air New Zealand (Air NZ) this week opened a new cargo route with the first of three 787-9 cargo flights between New Zealand and Guangzhou in southern China. Read More » The first flight took off from Christchurch on Wednesday with another two flights scheduled next week. The cargo services will support the export and import of premium goods over the Lunar New Year holiday, the airline said in a statement. “We’re really excited to connect New Zealand businesses to Guangzhou and vice versa. We know it has not been easy for exporters and importers so it’s great to offer more connectivity,” Air NZ general manager for cargo, Anna Palairet, said.
