Skyways Technics Asia to expand at Malaysia’s Subang airport

MRO provider, Skyways Technics Asia, said this week it was expanding its facilities at Subang Airport in Kuala Lumpur. Read More » The facility specialises in supporting regional aircraft. Its capabilities include structural repairs for ATR interior, fuselages, wing, nacelle and door items certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Skyways Technics Asia regional manager, Amaury Parent, said this week structural components often were bulky and heavy, which meant flying them to Europe or North America for repairs could outweigh the costs of the MRO work.
