Temasek, the Singapore government's investment arm, has launched a pilot facility at Singapore EXPO and Max Atria, five minutes from Changi Airport, for international business travellers to visit Singapore and meet with locals without undertaking quarantine. Read More » Measures to limit transmission of COVID-19 included separate entrances, exits and ventilation systems for foreign travellers and local residents, glass panels dividing meeting rooms in two and ultraviolet boxes to sanitise documents being transferred between the two sections. "After close to four months of intense, round-the-clock construction and collaboration with our partners, various government agencies, vendors and subcontractors, we are ready to offer business travellers the option of resuming in-person meetings in a safe and contained manner," Temasek head of international policy and governance, Robin Hu, said. Aside from Temasek, the Connect@Changi consortium includes The Ascott Limited, Changi Airport Group, Sheares Healthcare Group, SingEx-Sphere Holdings and Surbana Jurong.
