Garuda Indonesia suffers demand collapse in peak holiday season

Read More » The airline group said it flew 266,104 domestic passengers in February, down 75.6%, from 1.1 million a year ago. The figures were 45.8% below the 491,275 domestic passengers transported by the Indonesian flag carrier in December. Capacity declined 30% year-on-year for the 28 days and was 25.1% lower than the final month of 2020. Passenger load factor was 27.1% for the reported period compared with 68.7% in the same month last year and 36.6% in December.
