Japan Airlines domestic network set at 72% for May

Japan Airlines (JAL) domestic network will operate at 72% of pre-COVID-19 levels in May, the carrier has announced. Read More » The figure represented an improvement from 66% in April. "Going forward, the carrier will closely monitor demand on each route and plan to implement temporary measures; including the operation of extra section flights and/or operating aircraft with larger seating capacity on specific routes, when applicable," JAL said in a statement. The May schedule has an average of 241 cancelled flights per day, with affected customers to be accommodated on alternative services.
