Cebu Pacific’s eighth A321neo enters service; LCC plans 59 new aircraft in fleet by 2027

Read More » The 236-seat narrow-body, CEB's eighth A321neo, arrived in the Philippines on April 2. "Pre-pandemic, we had embarked on our long-term vision and fleet strategy, which included an orderly exit of older aircraft," CEB deputy chief finance officer, Mark Cezar, said. "We envision the total CEB fleet to be composed of new generation aircraft in the next few years." CEB expected to take delivery of eight aircraft – a mixture of Airbus jets and ATR turboprops – in 2021. The CEB annual report, posted to the Philippines Stock Exchange today, showed the LCC had 59 aircraft deliveries due from 2021 to 2027. The airline's order book includes ATR 72-600 turboprops, A320 family aircraft and A330neo wide-bodies.
