Bangladesh authorities suspend international flights for seven days

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) said yesterday all international flights into and out of the country would be suspended from April 14 to April 20 inclusive, following government guidance and instructions. Read More » Medical, humanitarian, cargo and refuelling flights would be exempt from the suspension, the CAAB said in a statement. Similarly, the CAAB said all domestic, local and training flights would be suspended, also from April 14 to April 20. The temporary ban followed a national lockdown intended to contain a fresh wave of rising COVID-19 infections.
