Cathay Pacific Group closes pilot base in Canada with Australia and New Zealand crew bases forecast to follow

Cathay Pacific Group today confirmed the closure of its pilot base in Canada and flagged a similar decision would be made for pilots based in Australia and New Zealand following consultation with affected staff, Hong Kong's South China Morning Post reported, citing a memo to staff.
