Malaysia Airlines forecasts full industry recovery by 2023

Read More » Captain Ismail told a media briefing Malaysia Airlines was committed to taking delivery by 2024 of the 25 737 MAXs it had on order, or earlier if needed, and would begin consideration of replacing its A330s with new wide-bodies by 2023 or 2024. More broadly, he said air travel was likely to remain subdued and that he expected an L-shaped recovery from the coronavirus pandemic, adding a full recovery for the industry was not expected until 2023.
