All Nippon Airways Golden Week passengers improve 10-fold over same peak holiday in 2020

Read More » The figures were a 10-fold increase from the 2020 Golden Week, but still 73.4% below the pre-COVID-19 2019 Golden Week. The Star Alliance member offered 875,218 seats on domestic routes during this year's Golden Week, down 32.4% from 2019 levels. Passenger numbers declined across all regions due to the rise in new COVID-19 infections in Japan, which led the government to declare another State of Emergency in certain prefectures.
