Acting THAI president, Chansin Treenuchagron, named interim CEO; announced other key senior appointments

Thai Airways International (THAI) said in regulatory filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) yesterday Chansin Treenuchagron had been appointed acting CEO. Read More » He has been acting president since July 2020. The change was effective on May 1, THAI said. In a separate SET filing, THAI named Chai Eamsiri as chief of finance and accounting and Krisana Jaemkrajang chief accountant. Both appointments also took effect on May 1. The leadership changes are part of the airline's new organisation structure. THAI's 13,000 creditors, who are owed about 410 billion baht (US$13.1 billion), will meet next week to vote on the airline's rehabilitation plan.
