Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) has launched a free air ticket giveaway to support the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government's COVID-19 vaccination program. Read More » There will be 60,000 tickets available in a lucky draw for people who have been vaccinated by September – 50,000 tickets for Hong Kong residents and 10,000 for Hong Kong International Airport staff. AA also will purchase 1,000 air tickets to give away to its vaccinated staff through a lucky draw. "A higher vaccination rate is pivotal to the early recovery of the aviation business," AA chairman, Jack So, said. "We took the lead by committing additional resources to encourage AA staff to receive the vaccines, hoping other corporations and organisations in Hong Kong will support the government by providing different incentives to encourage their staff to receive the vaccination."
