Air New Zealand names new chief digital officer

Air New Zealand (Air NZ) has appointed Nikhil Ravishankar as the airline's chief digital officer. Ravishankar, chief digital officer at electricity and gas company, Vector New Zealand, will join Air NZ in September, the airline said. As a key pillar in our strategy, we have big plans for what we want to achieve in the digital space," Air NZ CEO, Greg Foran, said. "Nikhil's industry expertise will ensure we deliver on what we set out to do." Air NZ's previous chief digital officer, Jennifer Sepull, resigned in March after moving from the U.S. to take up the position in May 2019.
