U.S. approves 12 Vietnam Airlines repatriation flights

Vietnam Airlines has received approval from American regulators to operate 12 repatriation flights between Vietnam and the U.S., local media has reported. Read More » The first repatriation flight, from Hanoi to Washington D.C. via Alaska, is due to depart on June 22, with the return flight scheduled for June 24, the reports said. All flights are expected to be operated by Vietnam Airlines 787s or A350s. The airline flew about 20 repatriation flights between the two countries in 2020.
