China Airlines broadens contract with HAECO for component MRO of the flag carrier’s 777 fleet

Taiwan’s China Airlines (CAL) and HAECO have agreed to an expanded contract, to 2029, that covers component MRO, repair management, component pooling, component engineering, consumable and expendable parts support services, aircraft on ground (AOG) support and onsite consignment stock of CAL’s 16 passenger and freighter 777s at the airline’s Taipei home hub. Read More » The contract includes the addition of six 777Fs, of which , two have been delivered with the remainder to arrive by 2023. “We are delighted to continue our partnership with China Airlines. The extension, in these challenging times, is a testament to our strong operational relationship," HAECO ITM Limited executive general manager, William Arblaster, said. HAECO has provided inventory technical management support to CAL since 2014.
