Juneyao Air and Finnair announce business partnership

Shanghai-headquartered Juneyao Air and Finnair will deepen their cooperation on services between China and Europe. Read More » The partnership will align baggage allowances and frequent flyer benefits and offer customers more flexible routing options, the pair said in a statement. Juneyao and Finnair began code-sharing on each other's flights between Shanghai and Helsinki in July 2019. Due to the pandemic they only operate two flights a week on the route but hope to increase frequency as soon as the pandemic allowed. “Finnair is all about offering the best connections between Europe and Asia,” Finnair CEO, Topi Manner, said. “This is a true win-win partnership, which will allow Finnair and Juneyao customers to enjoy vastly improved access to our joint network," Juneyao CEO, Zhao Hongliang, said. “The joint business with Finnair will strengthen our market in Europe, which is an important strategy in our global expansion."
