Jetstar Japan names new chairman of the joint venture LCC

Jetstar Japan has named Nick McGlynn as chairman of the low-cost carrier. Read More » McGlynn succeeds Yasuhiro Nakamura, who has retired after serving two years in the role. McGlynn joined Jetstar Japan in January following more than three decades with the Qantas Group. His LinkedIn profile lists him as executive chairman of the LLC, which suggests he will have a management role at the carrier. Jetstar Japan, a joint venture between Japan Airlines, Qantas Group and Century Tokyo Leasing Corporation, said its commercial division general manager, Hirofumi Kono, also has joined the LCC’s board.
