BOC Aviation forecasts profit decline for 2021 first half

BOC Aviation said in a regulatory filing to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong that net profit for the six months to June 30, 2021 is forecast at 20% - 25% below the US$323 million net profit the lessor achieved 12 months earlier. As a result, the company expected to incur provisions for doubtful debts and impairment charges in its calendar 2021 first half results, it said. BOC Aviation’s interim report, to June 30, 2021 is scheduled for publication in August.
