Malaysia Airlines opens tender for sale of A380 fleet

Read More » It is for six aircraft and/or its components. Expressions of interest are to be lodged with the vendor by August 12. The tender documents, which are posted on the Malaysia Airlines website said the company was expected to award the contract as a result of the tender by November. The six A380s have been grounded since the beginning of the pandemic. Malaysia Airlines Group CEO, Captain Izham Ismail, said recently the double decker superjumbos were not part of the company's future.
