China Eastern Airlines flew eight million intra-China travellers in June

China Eastern Airlines (CEA) flew 8 million passengers on its domestic network in June, up 53.6% from 5.2 million in the same month a year earlier. In contrast to the year-on-year growth, the June figure was down 14.1% from 9.3 million domestic passengers in May. The domestic passenger load factor in June 2021 was 74.3%, compared with 76.4% in May 2021 and 66.8% in June 2020. CEA said it added two Airbus A320neos to the fleet in June.
