Read More » The introduction of the "Face Express" technology followed a trial conducted in April that involved passengers registering their facial image and then proceeding through check-in, baggage drop, security checkpoint entrance and boarding without showing their passport and boarding pass. "This enables a smooth and safe new air travel experience, as well limits the contacts points between airport staff and passengers," JAL said in a statement.
