Aircraft parts distributor and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company, Topcast Aviation Supplies, said it had acquired Shanghai-based aircraft components maintenance provider AML Aviation Technologies.


Maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider, AAR Corp, has reported a net profit of US$35.8 million for the 12 months to May 31, 2021, eight times above the US$4.4 million profit of the prior corresponding period. CEO, John Holmes, said he was encouraged by recent positive commentary from airline customers.


Airbus has launched a pilot training service, the Mobile Airbus Training experience (MATe) Suite, for recurrent and initial type training. It said India's IndiGo and Europe's Air Malta were among the first airlines to sign up for the subscription-based service which uses a 3D interactive virtual cockpit environment for training pilots.
