Airport Authority Hong Kong said the Marine Ecology Enhancement Fund (MEEF) and Fisheries Enhancement Fund (FEF), set up to enhance the marine environment, ecology and fisheries resources as the third runway is being constructed, have distributed HK$11.2 million (US$1.4 million) to 14 projects for the 12 months to June 30, 2022.
