HNA restructuring plan deadline postponed to November: report

Hainan High People's Court has given Chinese conglomerate, HNA Group, another three months to present its restructuring plan, the South China Morning Post has reported. Read More » The new date for the restructuring submission is November 10 compared with August 10. Debt-laden HNA Group includes airlines such as Hainan Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines and Fuzhou Airlines, among others, as well as a range of aviation, property and other businesses. In early 2020, HNA Group received a notice from a Hainan court that creditors had sought bankruptcy and reorganisation of the conglomerate due to an inability to meet debt commitments.
