Panasonic announces Singapore Airlines as inaugural marketplace platform customer

Panasonic Avionics Corporation said Singapore Airlines (SIA) will be the launch customer of its marketplace digital eCommerce platform. Read More » In June, SIA said it would offer live online shopping via its KrisShop e-commerce platform on board its aircraft. The service will be part of SIA's KrisWorld in-flight entertainment (IFE) system. Initially it will be available on selected A350s before being rolled out across the entire SIA fleet. Customers can chose to have items delivered to their homes or on their next SIA flight. “We are thrilled to launch our new marketplace platform with our longstanding partner Singapore Airlines," Panasonic Avionics Corporation vice president for digital solutions, Andrew Mohr, said.
