Read More » The incentive scheme is in support of Australia's COVID-19 vaccine rollout. There will be 10 major prizes – one for each state and territory in Australia and two drawn from a national television campaign. The winning packages include free domestic flights, accommodation and fuel for a year. International flights also will be available when borders reopen. "Getting vaccinated is an important step every Australian can take that brings us that little bit closer to life as we knew it," Qantas Group CEO, Alan Joyce, said. “This is one of the biggest giveaways we have ever done. The impact of the pandemic on the travel industry and our own Qantas Group team members means we have a clear vested interest in the success of the vaccine rollout." The lucky draw is open to Australian-based Qantas frequent flyer members aged 18 years and over. In addition to the major prizes, all entrants will receive the choice of 1,000 frequent flyer points, a A$20 (US$14.3) voucher or 15 status credits. Government figures show 30% of Australian residents aged 16 and over have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
