Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) has reported a net loss of 226.1 million ringgit (US$53.6 million) for the three months to June 30, a deterioration from a net loss of 91.1 million ringgit in the same three months in 2020. Revenue rose 19%, to 323.4 million ringgit, MAHB said in a regulatory filing to the Bursa Malaysia. The Malaysian government's recent decision to allow some flexibility for fully vaccinated people to travel between states and also permit tourism activities within the same state was "an early indication for a cautious traffic resumption", the airport group said.
