Mitsubishi Heavy Industries said its new green bonds announced earlier this month will raise 15 billion yen (US$136 million), have a maturity term of five years starting from September 1 and an interest rate of 0.09%. The proceeds will support new and existing businesses or projects relating to renewable or clean energies, such as wind, geothermal and hydrogen power systems.

The International Air Transport Association has called for the European Union's digital COVID certificate (DCC) to be the global standard for digital vaccine certificates.
