Japan Airlines boosts international flights from the end of October

Japan Airlines (JAL) plans to increase its flights to North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and Sydney from October 31 to January 31, 2022. Read More » The airline also will boost services to Melbourne. East Asia, Hawaii and Guam from October 31 for a month. “We will increase the flights on the Helsinki route from November to January and on the Paris and Frankfurt services from December to January to expand our European route network,’’ the airline said on its website. “In addition, to improve convenience for customers arriving outside of Tokyo, we will set up extra flights between Dallas/Los Angeles and Nagoya (Chubu) in December, add flights between Los Angeles and Osaka (Kansai) and set up services between London and Osaka(Kansai) in November and December.” JAL has expanded its “Corona cover” insurance for medical, testing and isolation expenses for those who test positive to COVID-19 while travelling. Originally, the coverage was to expire on September 30. It has been extended to January 10, 2022.
