The end of China’s two-year grounding of the 737 MAX may be in sight after the head of Boeing China said a crucial test flight “went off without a hitch”. Read More » Boeing China president, Sherry Carbary, made the comments on the sidelines of the China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai, telling reporters the company was working with the Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) and she was hopeful recertification would happen by year end. “It is up to the CAAC. But I can tell you we are doing all we can to support them and we are encouraged by how closely they are working with us,” she said.
