Thai Airways International back in the air to destinations with high vaccination rates

Thai Airways International (THAI) will resume flying to some destinations with high vaccination rates from October 1, according to the Bangkok Post. Read More » Destinations will include European markets such as Britain, France and Germany as well as Japan and Australia. The airline’s Australian site is alerting customers to resumed services between Sydney and Bangkok and its Japanese site boasts a winter schedule, subject to government approval, with flights from Haneda, Narita, Kansai and Chubu. THAI acting executive vice president, Chai Eamsiri, told the Bangkok Post scheduled flights to China are expected to be back reinstated next year. Chai told the newspaper the company’s balance sheet had improved after the sale of assets and investments.
