Virgin Australia brings forward Fiji launch date

The Fijian government’s reopening plan has prompted Virgin Australia to advance the date for resumption of flights by a week, to December 16, to better align with start of Australia’s holiday season. Read More » The airline plans to operate double-daily Sydney-Nadi return flights from December 16, as many as seven Melbourne-Nadi return flights a week from December 17 and up to three weekly Brisbane-Nadi return flights from December 18. The change is in response to the Fiji government’s decision to lift quarantine requirements for some countries and officially reopen for tourism from December 1. Qantas Group and Fiji Airways also have announced plans to resume services between Fiji and Australia.
