Boeing’s October deliveries better than 2020 but down on September numbers

Boeing delivered 27 aircraft in October, 14 more than October last year but eight fewer than in September. Read More » Eighteen of the delivered aircraft were 737 MAXs, two were 737-800 business jets and two were P-8 maritime patrol aircraft. Five wide-body jets included a 747 freighter and 777 cargo jets but no 787s. The U.S. manufacturer had delivered 268 aircraft until October 31, compared to 460 at rival Airbus. Orders for October included two 777 freighters for the Maersk shipping line.
