Cathay Pacific Airways air crew resignations increasing: Reuters report

Cathay Pacific has told Reuters news agency pilot resignations have "risen beyond normal levels since the end of October". Read More » The airline said the recent incident in Frankfurt, where three of its pilots breached company rules when they left their hotel rooms during a layover in the German city and later tested positive to COVID-19, had "affected current sentiment". All three pilots were sacked immediately as a result of the breaches. The Reuters said several pilots and also recently departed Cathay pilots said morale at the airline was low from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s extremely strict quarantine measures for flights into and out of Hong Kong.
