Vietnam Airlines reports US$154 million Q3 loss

Vietnam Airlines recorded a net loss of more than VND3.5 trillion (US$154.2 million) in its third quarter, to September 30, as COVID-19 affected revenues at its flying, airport and engineering businesses. VNExpress International quoted the company as saying it had proactively implemented “drastic solutions in business operations to minimise the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in a significant drop in Q3 losses compared with the first two quarters”.
