Malaysia Airlines revamps business class fare options

Malaysia Airlines has revamped its business class fares to include a "business basic option" that offers less flexibility to make changes and a lower luggage allowance and fewer benefits compared with its business flex and business suite products. Read More » Malaysia Airlines group CEO, Captain Izham Ismail, said the changes were in response to changes in passenger trends. "The pandemic has impacted air travel in many ways, and one of the biggest has been the significant change in customer preferences and travel needs," Captain Ismail said. "Taking this cue, we redesigned and redefined our fare structure which reflects our commitment to providing all our customers premium travel experience with the flexibility and ease of mind to modify their bookings." The introduction of the business basic, flex and suite fare family joins an existing economy lite, basic and flex fare family.
