Jetstar Asia adds to Vaccinated Travel Lane routes from Singapore

Singapore-based Jetstar Asia has received approval to operate Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) flights from Bangkok and Phnom Penh to Singapore. Read More » Five VTL flights a week from Bangkok are scheduled to begin on December 15 and five a week VTL services from Phnom Penh due to take off the following day. “Bangkok and Phnom Penh are two cities that offer something for everyone, from amazing culture to delicious food, vibrant street life and incredible markets,” Jetstar Asia head of commercial, Woo Wai Keong, said. “Not only will local travellers welcome this news, but we also expect to see strong demand for these services from transiting passengers travelling from Europe and the U.S. via Singapore.” Bangkok and Phnom Penh will join Jetstar Asia's three current VTL routes – Darwin, Kuala Lumpur and Perth. The LCC's sister carrier, Australian-based Jetstar Airways, has VTL flights from Melbourne to Singapore.
