Vietnam restores regular international flights to several countries from January 1

The Vietnamese government has agreed to a resumption of regular commercial flights between Vietnam and international destinations with high COVID-19 “safety coefficients” from January 1, a weekend posting on the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) website has reported. Read More » The ruling covers Beijing, Guangzhou, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore, Vientiane, Phnom Penh, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The CAAV said it made the decision to promote an economic and tourism recovery in the country and enable overseas Vietnamese to return to their homeland for the 2022 Lunar New Year holiday (February 1-February 3).
