Japan Airlines cuts more flights from domestic schedule

Japan Airlines (JAL) has cut more flights from its domestic schedule for this month and in February in response to market conditions. Read More » The oneworld alliance member's schedule update, published late last week, showed 657 domestic flights were cancelled from January 15 to January 31. The changes meant JAL plans to operate 94% of its normal domestic schedule for the month, three percentage points lower than the 97% operation rate outlined in the airline's previous schedule update. JAL also removed another 1,230 flights from its domestic schedule between February 1 and February 15. "We plan to make an announcement on January 25 regarding the reduction of flights between February 15 and February 28, 2022," JAL said.
