China Southern Airlines says domestic passengers declined 38.4% in December

China Southern Airlines (CSA) reported domestic passenger numbers fell 38.4% in December, to 6.1 million, from 9.9 million a year earlier. Read More » However, on a month-on-month basis, the airline said domestic passengers rose 23.9%, from 4.9 million in November 2021. Domestic passenger load factor for the reported month was 65.5% compared with 71.5% in December 2020 and 64% in November 2021. The airline group added two A350s and one ARJ21 to its operations in December, bringing its fleet to 878 airplanes.
