Malaysia to establish quarantine-free travel with Cambodia and Thailand

Malaysia’s Minister of Transport, Dr Wee Ka Siong, said a Vaccinated Travel Lane scheme (VTL) with Cambodia and Thailand will commence on March 15 allowing quarantine-free travel for fully vaccinated passengers. Read More » The scheme will kick off with six daily flights on the Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok route and four daily flights between the Malaysian capital and Phuket. For Cambodia, there will be two daily flights connecting Kuala Lumpur and Phnom Penh. "These VTL routes will be served by all of the countries’ designated carriers under the VTL initiative," Dr Wee said. "The government will continue discussions with neighbouring ASEAN countries about the safe reopening of additional routes, according to prevailing situations."
