AirAsia is to launch three routes between Malaysia and Thailand. The LCC said twice a week Penang-Bangkok Don Mueang flights and three times a week services between Kuala Lumpur and Hat Yai will begin on April 13. Read More » The third route, three services a week between Bangkok Don Mueang-Johor Bahru is to debut on May 3. Passengers on all flights will not be required to quarantine on arrival. “We chose to resume routes to countries that share Thailand’s reopening policy so our passengers can travel without being concerned about quarantining," AirAsia Thailand CEO, Santisuk Klongchaiya, said. "The routes cover ASEAN and southern Asia. We are working closely with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and relevant agencies to attract visitors to Thailand while maintaining the utmost standards in screening and public health measures.”
