China Southern Airlines posts 45.8% year-on-year growth in domestic passengers for February

China Southern Airlines (CSA) carried 7.3 million passengers on its domestic network in February, up 45.8%, from six million passengers in the same month in 2021. Read More » The February result was 10.1% higher, month-on-month, than the 6.6 million passengers CSA flew in January. Domestic passenger load factor for the 28 days was 68.7%, CSA said, compared with 66.1% in February 2021 and 63.4%, in January. CSA added two A319neo and A321neo to its fleet and withdrew an A380 from service during the month. At the end of February, the CSA fleet numbered 880 aircraft.
