China Aircraft Leasing Company (CALC) said net profit rose 57.4%, to HK$525.8 million (US$67.2 million), in the 12 months to December 31, 2021 from HK$334.1 million in the same 12 months in 2020. Read More » Revenue was down 6%, at HK$3.3 billion, CALC said in a regulatory filing to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. "CALC has withstood tests of the market and the pandemic with its highly resilient aviation full value chain model, which also demonstrates its sustainable development edges," CALC CEO, Mike Poon, said. "Embracing a new round of market opportunities afforded by industry recovery, CALC will leverage its two major segments of its new aircraft order book and its aftermarket services." CALC had a fleet of 152 aircraft at December 31, up from 128 a year earlier.
