Singapore Airlines plans 62 flights a week to North America by June: report

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has scheduled a return to Newark Liberty Airport with daily flights to resume from March 28, Singapore's The Straits Times has reported, citing comments from SIA regional vice president for the Americas, Joey Seow. Read More » The resumption of operations to New Jersey’s Newark will give SIA three flights a day to New York area airports alongside existing daily Singapore-New York JFK (the world's longest route by distance) and Singapore-Frankfurt-New York JFK services. The Star Alliance member also is restarting nonstop Singapore-Vancouver flights from mid-year, heralding a return to Canada after an absence of 12 years. The Singapore flag carrier plans to operate 62 flights a week to North America by June, above its pre-COVID-19 peak schedule of 57 flights weekly.
