Maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider, AAR Corp, has reported US$22.5 million profit for the three months to February 28, 2022, down 19.9% from a net profit of US$28.1 million in the previous corresponding period. Revenue rose 10.2%, to US$452.2 milling, AAR said in a regulatory filing to the New York Stock Exchange. "Our largest commercial customers remain optimistic about the recovering demand for business and leisure travel and we expect this momentum to continue,” AAR CEO, John Holmes, said.
EVE Air Mobility said its consortium had completed a concept of operations (CONOPS) for airspace integration of urban air mobility in the U.K. The consortium members are NATS, Heathrow Airport, London City Airport, Skyports, Atech, Volocopter and Vertical Aerospace, with the project to be undertaken in partnership with the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
Travel technology company, SITA, said Philippines LCC, Cebu Pacific, has selected its AIRCOM® Cockpit Services integrated with Inmarsat’s SwiftBroadband-Safety (SB-S) satellite network service for its A330neo fleet.
Thailand will host its own airshow at U-Tapao International Airport outside Pattaya in 2027, prime minister General Prayut Chan-ocha has announced. The Thailand International Airshow’s official organiser is the Eastern Economic Corridor Office of Thailand, with support from the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau and the Royal Navy of Thailand.
