China Airlines boosts flight schedule for northern hemisphere summer season

Taiwan-headquartered China Airlines (CAL) is lifting passenger capacity by 20% in April and May in response to its latest review of travel demand. Read More » The new flying schedule includes additional flights to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai Pudong and Singapore as well as Fukuoka, Osaka and Tokyo in Japan and Seoul Incheon in South Korea. There also will be more services to North America from mid-May, including frequency additions to Los Angeles area airports and Canada. The SkyTeam alliance member said nonstop flights from its Taipei hub to New York will resume in June and Vienna will commence in the near future. "Further adjustments will be made on a rolling basis in response to the latest quarantine policies," CAL said.
